Freedom of the seas

Freedom of the seas is the worlds largest cruise ship in the world it is a huge 1,112 feet long and 184 feet wide, made up of 15 decks it can hold a massive 3,634 guests and is owned by the Royal Caribbean. It towers up to a huge 208 feet which would be the same as putting two of the Statue of Liberty head to toe.

On board the Freedom of the Seas you will find a 445 foot long promenade which is made up of a number of shops, bars and places to eat, at night time it is lit up and members of staff bring to life a wonderful street parades, a descending bridge comes down allowing you to look over the ship amongst the music, lights and lasers. If you want to get up and show off you can do this at there On Air Club' which isn't like your normal karaoke bar, its made up of a flat screen TV, theatrical lights, video cameras and for those daring enough a green screen' where you can record your own music video.

They also offer a number of professional entertainment shows in their on board Art Deco-style Arcadia theatre which has seats for 1,350 people. The shows that play there are the musical Now You See It!, a medley of performances in the show Marquee and a Once Upon A Time narrative show which combines the Brother Grimm's fairytales.

Now what does the Freedom of the Seas have to offer you during the day well, how about a dedicated sports pool where you can take part in a number of different sporting water games such as volleyball and basket ball, or for if your bothered about your fitness on board they have designated lane swimming times.

Or for those of you just wanting to do you own thing in the water you could try out the new feature for Freedom of the Sea and that's its H20 Zone/Spray ground! This area is made up of fibreglass sculptures, shooting jets spraying water, water cannons and lots more, including a lazy river which has its own waterfall! At night this area along with the sports pool gets transformed into a night club with a dance floor in the middle of the two pools, not only this but it is a sculpture garden where you can see some of the greatest lightshows!
